Quinoa is described as "The Mother Grain" by the Incas and it has been consumed for over thousand years. Country Farm Organics Quinoa is organically cultivated at the peaks of Peruvian Andes. Unlike other grains, quinoa boasts a complete protein as it contains eight essential amino acids. It is also a good source of iron, calcium, phosphorus and vitamin B-complex. Being gluten free and easy digestible grain, it is definitely an ideal healthy addition to anyone's dish

Black & Red Quinoa are originated from the red plant.

Basic cooking instruction:

Cook a cup of quinoa in a pot of boiling water (2 cups). Cover the pot and cook over medium heat for about 20 minutes until water is completely absorbed. Remove from heat and set aside for 5 minutes. Serve quinoa as like serving rice.
